課程概述 |
This course aims to train upper-level students to integrate textual analysis, critical approaches and research skills in the process of writing a research paper in the MLA style. Besides, formats of business correspondence will also be studied as samples of writing in this semester. |
|
課程目標 |
The process of writing a paper is a journey of self-discovery. By practicing research methods and critical approaches, students will be able to conduct independent and in-depth analysis of a literary text and formulate their cogent arguments in a well-documented paper. The end product of this research journey will be the realization of students’great potentials, which paves the way for their success in future careers. |

(1) Library and online research; (2) oral reports; (3) one letter; (4) one 10 paged term paper on topic of student's choice. |
